Q: How does Fold Haus work?
We pick up your laundry, wash it with care, fold it beautifully, and deliver it back to your door. Members choose between two monthly plans (Standard or Luxe), or can use our one-time service option.
Q: What kind of items do you accept?
We accept:
• Everyday clothing (tops, bottoms, undergarments, etc.)
• Towels and washcloths
• Bedsheets and pillowcases
• Light throw blankets
• Baby and children’s clothes
• Gym clothes and loungewear
We do NOT accept:
• Large comforters, duvets, or weighted blankets
• Rugs, bath mats, or pet bedding
• Shoes or accessories
• Items with heavy grease, paint, or dry-clean-only tags
Q: Will my laundry be sorted for optimal care?
Yes! We sort each order by fabric type and tone- light, dark, and delicate items are washed separately to protect your clothing and ensure the best results. Whites are washed separately and treated with a gentle bleach solution—unless you request otherwise on your weekly form.
Q: What if I have stains or delicate items?
You can request stain treatment or special handling (like hang-dry) in your weekly request form. We’ll always do our best to take extra care.
Q: What scents do you use?
We wash all items using our signature eco-friendly detergent. You can choose to enhance your laundry with a Fold Haus Scent fragrance booster or select a fragrance-free option.
Luxe members receive scent boosters or fragrance-free service at no additional cost.
Q: How much laundry can I send?
Each standard bag includes up to 20 lbs of laundry.
If you send over 20 lbs, a $5 per 5-pound charge will apply.
• 21–25 lbs = $70
• 26–30 lbs = $75
We’ll weigh and confirm before washing, so there are no surprises.
What does 20 pounds of laundry look like?
About two to three standard loads of laundry, or a typical laundry basket full of everyday items like clothing, towels, or linens. No need to stress over exact weight—we’ll handle that for you. If your bag is significantly over or under, we’ll reach out before moving forward.
Q: Do you accept laundry with pet hair or biohazards?
For the health and safety of our team, we do not accept:
• Laundry with feces, vomit, mold, or biohazards
• Items with bed bugs, roaches, or visible insect activity
• Excessively hairy pet bedding or garments
Contaminated laundry will be returned unwashed and a cleaning fee may apply.
Q: Can I pause or cancel my membership?
Yes! You can pause or cancel anytime—just let us know before your next billing cycle to avoid charges.
Q: What’s the weekly Fold Haus reminder email?
Each week, we send a reminder email to active members with a link to your Weekly Laundry Request Form. This is your chance to tell us about anything special you need that week—like stains to treat, items to hang, or if you’d like to change your scent.
Q: Do I have to fill out the form every week?
Nope! If you don’t submit the form, we’ll go with your default preferences on file. But if anything changes—new stains, a scent switch, or travel plans—just fill out the form to update us.
Can I include how many items I’m sending?
Yes! If you’d like, you can jot down the total number of clothing items in your bag on your order email. While we don’t require it, it’s a great way to ease any concerns and help us double-check everything before we return your order. You can also reply to your confirmation email with the count if that’s easier.
